Gispen Contour magazine rack

The Contour magazine rack was designed by Robert Bronwasser for the Gispen brand. Contour is a magazine rack with an origami-like shape created by folding the steel that the Contour was made of. The unfolded asymmetrical shape ensures that your favorite magazines are always easily within reach. The most striking detail is the sloping bottom that prevents magazines from slipping away.

The Gispen design tradition

Working with classic materials such as steel means playing with the well-known Gispen design tradition – minimalist and functional. This is how Robert Bronwasser has brought a simple, ordinary product back to its essence, with a twist. Delightful to the eye and functional.

Design & other Contour designs

The Contour magazine rack is made of folded steel with a thickness of 2 mm. The magazine rack is finished with a powder coating of your choice: frosted white or frosted black. Dutch design made in Holland. The Contour magazine racks were designed by Robert Bronwasser and made in the Co2-neutral factory of Gispen in Culemborg. The Contour rack combines excellently with the matching Contour dish created by the same designer.
