Gispen Contour bowl

The Contour dish was designed by Robert Bronwasser for the Gispen brand. Contour is a table bowl with an origami-like shape created by folding the steel that the Contour was made of. Things that are left lying around such as keys, a mobile phone, pens, or the daily mail can easily be put away with this bowl. The bowl can be used in the hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, or study. The Contour bowl is also beautiful when it’s empty: a sleek eyecatcher on the table or sideboard.

Design & other Contour designs

Contour is made of folded steel with a thickness of 2 mm. The bowl is finished with a powder coating of your choice: frosted white or frosted black. Dutch design and made in Holland, as the Contour bowls were designed by Robert Bronwasser and made in the Co2-neutral factory of Gispen in Culemborg. The Contour bowl combines excellently with the matching Contour magazine holder created by the same designer.
