Recognizable Dutch characteristics

All scarves in the Holland Design & Gifts collection include typical Dutch elements, some more than others. We have cotton and silk scarves from Barentsz, with artwork of maps of Amsterdam and the Netherlands and Dutch shipping routes.  The gorgeous woollen scarf from the Rijksmuseum collection includes beautiful depictions of a row of

Amsterdam canal houses. From the same collection, there is also the POM Amsterdam asymmetrical silk scarf with a design based on a particular detail from Hendrick Avercamps´ 'Wintry Landscape and Skaters´. The Van Gogh scarves are inspired by several paintings: Almond blossom, Plum-tree and the Sunflowers - all can be admired in the Van Gogh Museum.  The Hendrik silk scarves for him and her were also inspired by Vincent van Gogh's works, but distinguish themselves thanks to their contemporary interpretation.
