History of merges

Zilverstad is part of the Bredemeijer Group, including its two sister companies; Leopold Vienna and Bredemeijer. The group originated from the - similarly named - Bredemeijer company, producer of high quality coffee and tea accessories. In 1934 the company was sold by the widow of Mr. G. Bredemeijer to a family active in the metal industry. The company was sold again in 1994. Another acquisition took place in 2009, and in 2010 the German brand Leopold Vienna was added to their portfolio. As of January 2012, the three brands are combined under one umbrella.
