Brût stands for sturdy and elegant living, kitchen, and office accessories. Founders Rick and Linsey Ruijter believe that in addition to making beautiful products, they also have a task in the field of sustainability: making products that last a lifetime, made from organic, recycled, or recyclable raw materials. The collection is very diverse, but the Brût design is mainly inspired by Art Deco and the Amsterdam School. Production takes place in a few carefully selected small-scale factories in Bosnia and India where craftsmanship is paramount.
