Holland bowl white

In the bowl, you recognize the distinctive contours of the Netherlands. A unique design by Sander Alblas for Royal Goedewaagen, a  Dutch ceramics factory with a history that hat goes back to 1610. The Holland bowl is made of glazed white-coated earthenware. A great fruit bowl but also a beautiful design object in itself. The Holland bowl comes carefully packed in a gift box.

Dutch designer Sander Alblas

Sander Alblas designed this nostalgic bowl. He was born in 1968 in Gouda and graduated cum laude as an illustrator and graphical designer at Minerva in Groningen. Many generations of his family worked at Royal Goedewaagen and now he himself continues this legacy by designing ceramics. He is often inspired by the Netherlands, which is reflected in the design of this vase.

Royal Goedewaagen was established in 1984 in Nieuw-Buinen in Drente. The company has a long history, however. The story of Royal Goedewaagen starts in 1610 when the De Jong family from Gouda established 'De Star, a ceramics factory. This company eventually turned into Royal Goedewaagen, a company to which quality, craftsmanship, perfection, and creativity are of great importance. They successfully reflect these values in their products. The company is one of the leading players in the field of ceramics.
