On the contrary, the reuse and redevelopment of old iconic buildings can lead to wonderful results. This English-language edition describes the reuse of twenty real estate objects and how all parties from Dutch heritage policy in private-public cooperation have realized these projects. A book that inspires us to give our cultural heritage to new contemporary roles. A very imaginative initiative is to give even Soestdijk Royal Palace a new public function.
