A total of 40 ovals together form the Ovals pendant light. A clever construction of half-wooden-connections makes the frame of this lamp unobtrusive. The stable MDF and the laser cut-technology enables this. The No.39 Ovals pendant light measures 52x52 cm. As you can see in the pictures, the lamp creates a beautiful play of light on the walls or ceiling, which enlarges the effect of the shape of the Ovals lamp.
A versatile designer
After his study mechanical engineering, Alex Groot Jebbink graduated in 2003 as an interior architect and furniture designer. In 2012 he graduated also as Master of Interior Architecture at the Utrecht School of the arts. His designs are characterized by the use of honest materials with its own character and bright, quiet forms. Ultimately, it is for Alex the art to present complexity in a simple way. The surprise lies in the apparent simplicity.
