Tectonic Vase
Porcelain, Earthenware or Reglaze

The Tectonic Vase appears to consist of several shards with fault lines and height differences. Just like the tectonic plates in the Earth's crust. A design by Humade, optionally made of porcelain, earthenware or reglaze. The porcelain vase is white, the reglaze brown-grey, both with partly glossy fault lines. The earthenware has contrasting fault lines and fractions in white tones. Pretty unique!

Description

Tectonic Vase from Humade

The Tectonic Vase invites you to look at change differently. Just like shifts in the Earth's crust (tectonic plates), we and our environment are constantly changing. By increasing the 'cracks' in the vase, the traces of change become recognizable. No one is perfect, everyone changes, ages and it is precisely these human 'cracks' that guarantee everyone's unique beauty

Made from Reglaze

This special Tectonic vase version is made from "Reglaze", in which clay and glaze waste is reused. The result of this process is a firm surface, with a natural look. In this process, each vase is unique, the color and structure can vary but always falls within a shade from matte brown to shades of gray. That's how you find the ultimate perfection of imperfection, says Charlotte Landsheer of Cor Unum, who developed Reglaze.

Humade

Humade, founded by the sisters Gieke en Lotte, is defined by a continuous dialogue, strengthened by a shared passion and true dedication to find a right balance between man, product and space.
