The beautiful gift box includes an exclusive lobster clasp for the bag function. In this package, you will also find a linen storage pouch to neatly store the scarf.

What is Tencel?

Tencel, also known as lyocell, is made from eucalyptus trees and feels just as soft as silk. Tencel is so environmentally friendly that it has been awarded the European Ecolabel! Tencel prevents irritation, is anti-allergic and antibacterial. A solution for asthma patients and ideal for people with a dust mite allergy or sensitive skin.

Gerard van Spaendonck

Gerard van Spaendonck (Tilburg 1746 - Paris 1822) was a Dutch painter, best known for his flower still lifes. He studied painting in Antwerp, after which he left for Paris. There he was appointed miniature painter at the court of Louis XVI in 1774 at the age of 28 and in 1780 as a professor of flower painting at the Jardin des Plantes. Shortly afterward he was elected a member of the Académie des beaux-arts. He created more than fifty works for the Vélins du Roi, a renowned collection of botanical watercolors, and published Fleurs Dessinées d'après Nature (Flowers Drawn from life), a still highly regarded book in the field of flower painting.
