A cool lamp
Designer Elmer Franken had a clear vision when he designed the ‘Elements of Nature’ lamp (EoN lamp). “My inspiration was water dripping on a stone, freezing during the night, and thawing again once the sun comes up. This cycle repeats itself until a branched texture is created, further eroded by wind and sand. I was inspired by this natural effect for the design of the EoN”, says Franken.
Cool blue
The holes, created by the pattern of branches, create a beautiful shadow play in your room. The blue color emphasizes the shape of the branches and the cool atmosphere of winter.
Multi-functional
Franken created these lamps with multiple uses in mind. He designed the EoN so that it can be used as a hanging lamp, table lamp, or wall lamp. As a set of lamps in a room, these lamps create a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The lamps are made by means of the new process of 3D printing and consist of thin layers of plastic.
Design
These EoN lamps are made of biodegradable plastic (PLA) and are 19 cm high, 19 cm wide, and 19cm deep. A single lamp is suitable for up to 40 Watts, E27 and a power supply of 220 Volts.
