In 1995, Eric founded Atelier Ozo. From this design studio he creates fine furniture and home accessories, which can be described as straightforward as they are made with a practical purpose in mind. As an independent designer he has already been responsible for several projects in the field of shop design, exhibition design and furniture design.

Dessert Candle
The unique Dessert Candle by Atelier OZO speaks for itself. A Colored candle in the traditional shape of a pudding. You can almost imagine the taste. Designer Eric Wijffelaars makes these candles in real ceramic pudding molds. Dessert candles are available in 7 different colors: ivory, pink, red, purple, light blue, green, and yellow ocher. By adding a thin, dark bottom layer, the Dessert candles appear to stand on top of a pedestal. Fresh and cheerful as an accessory, warm as a burning candle.
Handmade wax with a story
The way in which the wax used by Atelier OZO is produced, is a story of its own. The wax is produced from remnants of sacrificial candles from Dutch churches. These candles contain the thoughts, wishes, and love of the churchgoers. Handmade Dutch designer products by designer Eric Wijffelaars.
