Peter van de Water

Amsterdam based 

After graduating from the St. Joost Academy of Art and Design in Breda in 1994 - majoring in Architectural Design and Architecture - Peter van de Water was able to find his personal style at a designer studio. Since 1999, Van de Water offers his services as a furniture and interior designer from his own company 'Internal affairs', based in Amsterdam. From there, he works for both private and business sectors. Peter van de Water manufactures his furniture under the label 'By Peter van de Water' and various furniture brands such as Cascando, Gispen and New Duivendrecht.

A real asset

The designs by Peter van de Water are renowned for their simplicity and elegant, detailed execution. Famous furniture and home accessories designed by Peter include Outline table lamp and Outline table clock (produced by Gispen) and the modular couch 'Team' by Cascando. This latter design received a special mention by the German Design Award in the 'Office' category.
