Fenna Oosterhoff graduated in product design at the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem, after which she started her own studio in the same city. Fenna specializes in ceramics. Her designs are produced in her own studio. From tableware and lighting to exclusive business gifts. Fenna Oosterhoff uses powerful shapes, subdued colours and high quality materials to create ceramics with a sophisticated, robust and pure appearance. Oosterhoff is fascinated by clear and balanced shapes and finds inspiration in natural materials, patterns and textures. The tactile value of a product is of paramount importance to her; since childhood she loves to discover objects by touching them. This is reflected in the sudden changes in shape and surprising reliefs in her tableware collection. In the designs of Fenna Oosterhoff, form follows function. Her products are characterized by usability with a sleek, contemporary look. Her tableware collection, which includes porcelain jugs and mugs, is a striking example. Oosterhoff's personal favorite is the Edged vase series. During the design process, she sought to strike a balance between the three vases, yet still being stylish on their own. This resulted in a series of geometrically shaped vases that are an excellent addition to any interior, both on their own or combined.
