Blond Amsterdam
In a small workshop on the Spuistraat in Amsterdam, two friends from Brabant started painting kitchenware. Today, the kitchenware collection of Femque van Geffen and Janneke Dröge is extremely varied. The kitchenware has the brand name 'Blond Amsterdam'. Within the Blond Amsterdam Collection, they created a Delfts Blond series with great artwork that characterizes the Netherlands. This series is not comparable with the porcelain products known as ‘Delftware', but certainly is a unique spin on them.
Design
. This storage jar from the Delfts Blond series by Blond Amsterdam is made of pottery and has typical Dutch artwork. The lid includes the following text ‘geluk zit in een klein koekje’ [‘happiness can be found in even the smallest biscuit’ This is a Dutch word play]. This storage jar is 15 cm long, 18 cm high, and 15 cm wide.
Drinking tea or coffee together
This Delfts Blond storage jar can hold biscuits and sweets, but can also be used to store tea bags and coffee pads.
