In 2001, Femque van Geffen and Janneke Dröge started painting crockery in a small studio in Amsterdam under the name Blond. Their shared passion for fun and colorful tableware grew into a vibrant, varied, and famous product range.

Blond Amsterdam
In a small workshop on the Spuistraat in Amsterdam, two friends from Brabant started painting kitchenware. Today, the kitchenware collection of Femque van Geffen and Janneke Dröge is extremely varied. The kitchenware has the brand name 'Blond Amsterdam'. Within the Blond Amsterdam Collection, they created a Delfts Blond series with great artwork that characterizes the Netherlands. This series is not comparable with the porcelain products known as ‘Delftware', but certainly is a unique spin on them.
Small mug, big pleasure!
The mini mug from the Delfts Blond series by Blond Amsterdam is made of pottery. They depict a kissing or hugging couple against the backdrop of canal houses: a typical Dutch image. This mug is sold per piece. You can also order them per set of 4, all depicting the same image. The mugs are 11 cm long, 8 cm high, and 8.5 cm wide These mugs can be placed under a coffee machine such as the Senseo. As a fun detail, the inside of this Delfts Blond mug has a painted Blond Amsterdam recognition label in the shape of a small, blue heart.
