For this bag (25 x 17 cm), BIEN moves were inspired by the birds from the famous painting The Menagerie by Melchior d'Hondecoeter. The bag has a cotton-nylon front with a print of the cockatoo and two other birds from The Menagerie and a green satin-nylon back. The bag has a storage compartment for your phone and wallet and a long, adjustable satin-nylon shoulder strap to ensure comfort. Beautiful details: the gold-colored metal zipper with metallic leather zip puller and the gold-colored lining on the inside.

Melchior d'Hondecoeter

The specialty of Melchior d'Hondecoeter (1636 Utrecht - 1695 Amsterdam) - painting poultry - he did not get from a stranger. His father and grandfather painted animals, and an aunt was married to the painter Jan Baptist Weenix, an Italianate. After being taught by his father, d'Hondecoeter was apprenticed to his uncle Weenix. This enabled him to optimally develop his technique and use of color. In addition to scenes with birds in realistic poses, d'Hondecoeter also painted wallpapers with views of buildings and parks.
