CCCLX Serving Tray - Black Aluminum
The CCCLX tray has a clear and dynamic shape with modern and classic features at the same time. Made from one flat piece of metal. The metal sheet is laser cut according to the design drawing. Then the handles of the tray are folded into a three-dimensional creation. The tray measures 44 x 32 cm and is made of black anodized aluminum.
The CCCLX series
CCCLX is the roman notation for the number 360. This stands for the shape of the CCCLX products that are folded from a flat plate to a spatial shape of 360 degrees. That applies to the tray, but also to the CCCLX candlesticks.
Designer Bruno van Hooijdonk
The CCCLX series is designed by Bruno van Hooijdonk. He had his design education at the ArtEZ Institute of Arts in Arnhem. After his studies, he founded his own design studio, Buro Bruno, already in 1998. Bruno is a versatile designer of large and small (ornamental) objects, tables, coat racks, lighting, candle holders, vases, and jewelry. He works often with metal as in the CCCLX series but also designs in ceramic, plastic, and textiles. In 2006, together with Harry Koopman, Bruno founded the design label Interior Adventures For Real (I.A.F.R.) which designs and manufactures furniture and lamps in an intuitive way with a sense of style and history.
