A fresh and fruity apron of the artwork "Horn of Plenty" by the artists Arno Coenen and Iris Roskam can be found on the ceiling of the iconic Markthal in Rotterdam. A real eye-catcher with a color explosion of greatly enlarged fruits, vegetables, grains, fish, flowers and insects, the characteristic Laurenskerk and a typical Dutch cow. And all this against a sky blue sky with white clouds. An apron that will make you happy. The apron has an adjustable neck strap and a subtle side pocket. Made from 100% cotton, one size fits all.

Horn of Plenty  - Cornucopia

The artwork "Horn of Plenty" by the artists Arno Coenen and Iris Roskam adorns the "bigger than life" inner facade of the iconic Markthal in Rotterdam. The artwork of no less than 11,000 square meters shows greatly enlarged fruits, vegetables, grains, fish, flowers and insects. The Sint-Laurenskerk can also be seen in the background. According to artists Arno Coenen & Iris Roskam, who wanted to evoke a childlike sense of wonder with this work, the Horn of Plenty is a worship of nature and an ode to the universe. Coenen and Roskam realized the work in collaboration with MVRDV, the architectural firm that designed the Markthal.

Tante Bella & Tante Jo

Is the apron label of Maan and Suus Ketterings. Inspired by and named after the aunts tante Bella and tante Jo, sisters of their grandmother. They were always busy. In and around the house and in your own vegetable garden – dressed in colorful aprons. They made their own liqueur from walnuts and the cellar was full of preserving bottles with cherries on brandy, stewed pears and jam. Time seemed to have no grip on the aunts' lifestyle. They did not let the latest whims drive them crazy, but held on to an enduring quality. That quality of life, that imperturbable adherence to what is good, has strongly inspired Maan and Suus and to translate this into a collection of contemporary aprons.
